Default Cam for TEA Stage 2

Im getting some 5.3 stage 2 TEA heads milled .015 and im fixin to get a cam. I need to know what would be a good cam to run with these heads. Any advise will help. Thanks

My X1 works great with my 1.5s but now that I have the 90/90 i think a grind with more exhaust duration like the F13 or the TR230/236 would work better.

First off with the heads milled that far the MS3 will never fit without flycuting the pistons.
The F13 is probally what I would suggest as long as it would clear. I have used a 228/232 cam a few times with nice results also.

Give Tea a call and they will give you the info you need for those heads. I talked to Brent last year about specs on a cam to compliment my stage 1.5 heads and he recommended something around 230-234 intake duration and 236 to 240 exhaust duration. Cam selection is tough because there are so many variables besides just head type. Get on Comp Cams website and select the online cam request form and look at all the questions they ask. And for the most part, they are still guessing.

i would reccomend the f13 as well,or the 231/237.
