Which one Would be the best all around cam.. im going with stock '98 heads ported with ferrea 2.055 and 1.60 valves.. should flow really good with the guy thats does porting down here.. forged bottom end.. ls6 intake, 80mm tb, pacesetter LT's , ORY with cutout, 3.73's, yank 3600.. let me know what ya'll think will be the best cam for this set up.. im looking for a sound like the one on the opening page of lg motorsports.. what LSA would that be..

Are the heads milled at all, and if so, do you have valve reliefs? I had the f13 and later installed a torquer derivitive. So far I like the torquer since its a little bigger, but it may not be as civilized as the f13 was. Both are great cams, but It looks like youre set up for a bigger cam anyway with that stall and tthe 3.73's.

aren't those larger than stock valves? if so you will have less ptv than offered by the stock valves. if this is the case, your cam choices will be limited. also, if the heads have been milled you will have even less ptv...assuming you have no valve reliefs.
none of those cams will sound like the lgmotorsports' homepage. if you want the sound on lgmotorsports' homepage, i think you'll need about 4 more points of compression and probably a 26x/27x cam on a 110 lsa.
the s-cam is the largest of the group, but on the widest lsa (115). if i were you i'd opt for a g5x2 or something similar.

Wouldn't it be better to run dual springs with the f13 or f14? I know the 918s are good for .600 lift, but would there be any problems or longevity issues with the 918s on dd?

the hpe s cam makes really good power. im not real sure of its street manners though specially in an auto, but i have heard you can get it tuned to act fine.... give them a call.. the hpe s cam will make more power than the mti x1, personally i run the mti y1 no complaints here might wanna check into that one...
