i have read almost every thread on this subject and still have a question. i'm looking to do a set of roller rockers on the C-5. is there anything that will be an upgrade from stock, a direct bolt on, and easy to install? i wish there was a difinitive thread on this subject but i have searched with no luck. any help would be cool. thanks guys.

Some of the best are CRANE GOLD and Jesels
Easy to install are the nonadjustables (why bother changing from stock)
The adjustables all require some sort of clearancing, and adjusting of course, so not directly EASY to do.

They are actually very easy to install. The directions aren't as complicated as they seem. Spin the motor over by hand to find 0 lash, spin motor again, find 0 lash. I did this like 4 times to make sure I had 0 lash. Just make sure you aren't depressing the lifter cup when setting 0 lash. Then after you find 0 lash you dont spin the motor at all. tighten the rockers a 1/4 turn at a time waiting about 10 min between each turn till you go 1 & 1 /2 to 2 full turns.
