Depends on the power levels but anything below 1000WHP and they would all be the same.

I'm not using forced induction, but I voted other. I'm building a 408 Stroker engine and I am using Wiseco pistons because of their design (offset pins, designed for good clearance with strokers).

Diamond because of price and tooled steel wristpins.

I'm partial to JE.

But for an FI application no matter who you use, just make sure you are using 2618, and the ring pack has been moved down enough.

Thats one thing I haven't seen a write up on. Forged Rotating Assemblies and Short Blocks in general. It'd be nice to have since people like me are not as knowledgeable on that area. It'd be a great crash course and might even gain more interest. Just a thought.

Mahle because of price and they came with rings. I went with 6.125 rods.

diamond, because the tech knew what he was talking about, they came looking like art with an extra thick crown and 24cc dish and hit my 8:1 mark right on the money! took a few 1000+rwhp pulls, took the heads off and the pistons looked BRAND new.

Diamond because that's what Thunder Racing used in the build.
