Just get a set of Morels from one of the board sponsors and buy your last set of lifters.

Comp r's got a bad name form some guys who did not know how to set up preload. I ran them for 2 years to 7500 no porblem but still not the best lifter but do work well if set up corrrectly.

They actually work great for high lift Cams. As for noise, some people just don't know how to set them up.We've done 6 cars with them--all quiet as stock.

same here. mine were very quiet. most guys put to much preload on them in my iron block we set them up at 0- .001 preload cold makes ~ .009 hot. on the aluminum you need a hair more cold to get the same hot but we normally just set them hot .

Comp R's and stock rockers are a no-no. The R's don't like nearly as much preload as what the stock torque specs give. This is why they got a bad reputation among LS1 and LT1 guys.

Default comp r

I have them in my engine, I love them. You do have to be very close on your preload though. I run them about .005 on an iron block. aluminum about .010
