Default Bought a new 2002 Z28, it has yellow springs, but unknown cam size.

I am guessing the springs are LS6 springs but since I didn't buy from an owner, just a retailer, they have no idea what size the cam is. I don't like not knowing things so I am planning on making a trip to the dyno to try and get an idea of the size of the cam.
Question is are the yellow springs good to .580 lift or am i mistaken and what size/type cam are used with these springs. I don't think the cam is a hotcam because I had that in my 2000 A4, but that was an auto and hard to compare to m6.
Wanting to get the car dynoed to make sure the tune is right, but later on I wanted to put in a 224/.581 sized cam. Debating on doing the swap before the tune (which would be awhile). Problem is money and that I don't have alot to spend.
Looking for opinions/comments. Thanks, James.

Yes the springs are rated @ .570 lift. There is no way to tell what cam you have unless you pull it out

I'm sure the dealer has records..

If it were me, I'd try to contact the previous owner.

Doubtful.

Sounds like you need to pull it and send it to Thunder Racing for the Cam Doctor treatment.

Couldn't you put a dial indicator on a rocker and try and get some lift numbers from the cam? You could use that to make a pretty good guess of what size was in it.

Does the car lope? If not, chances are it's just and LS6 cam.
