Default cam swap trouble

did a cam swap and changed the oil pump on a final check to make sure there were no leaks and I see a steady flow of oil coming out from the pan right above the oil filter. I have the pan back down now and I need a little advice or help on what to do. by the way I have good oil pressure. thanks in advance.

You're supposed to put RTV between the gasket and the pan, and the pan to block areas. Especially in the back cause it's a critical area where the rear cover, block and oil pan all meet. it's prone to leak in this area.

My question is.... why did you drop the pan in the first place to change a cam?

Don't have too drop the oil pan like 1/2 in. to replace the oil pump. Cuz he said he replaced the oil pump.

I would make sure there is nothing in the way of the pan seeling and then use rtv when you put it back togeather.

Yeah, it sounds like the pan dropped to far and you just don't have a good pan seal now. Like above, the RTV should take care of you.

It should seal right back up, maybe you lowered it too far. Also put some in the front where the front cover meets the pan. I just lay a thin bead all the way around
