Moore Performance valve spring tool!Anyone use it?
I'm going to order a valve spring tool soon to swap out the old 918 springs for some new 918s and came across the Moore Performance tool and wanted to know if it is any better than the standard clamp spring compressor? It looks nice to me and looks like it would be alot easier but i have not tried one and did not want to order it and find out that it was not what i exspected? Let me know what you think!

My experience was horrible with it. It was made of a **** poor tooling aluminum and didn't work as advertised. Search w/in the past two weeks on the internal section for the tool I use and it works the best of all. It only cost $15 too!

It would be so much better if it was made of tool steel or chromoly, or the craftsman tool stull (think its chromevanadium or something like that) But tools shouldnt be mader from aluminum regardless

We've been using at our shop for quite awhile now but only on changing from stock to the 918's. Not sure how it would work on the double spring or spring with a higher rate. So far we had no problems with it and it cut time by about half an hour or maybe more once we use it more often.

I've got a brand new More Performance tool that they sent me under warranty. I'll let it go for $110 shipped.
