Default TEA performance question

Are there any TEA powered Fbodys running 10s in the 1/4 or 6s in the 1/8 on all motor?

My car has the MPH to go 10s just haven't gotten the first 60' down. Launching a C5 is alittle tricky since the rear output shafts tend to snap like a twig.

HD- We will see.

Phillip - That is a great trap speed. What 60 would you need to cut to get into the 10s?

h53speed - It is white. I usually run 11s depending on track and weather conditions. My best is around 11.61 @ 115.8 with a 1.60 - 1.62 60'
What do you drive?

John, Larry's the POS M6 I was telling you about who got them also along with us. He has a VERY good shot at 10's and so do we if we can get good weather and some more weight off. You will have a better chance than me also cause weight's in your favor.

would be awesome if we all hit 10's with 224 cams wouldnt that be some hell

i dont care what I run, just as long as its 2-3 tenths quicker anyway

My trap speed was 124 and I really think I was short shifting. I made 4 passes and each pass I bumped the shift points up alittle and every pass went faster. Shifting at 6500 the car would trap 124. I really think I need to shift my setup at 7k. My new setup will be shifted at 7k+-200rpm and hopefully I'll see 127+traps.

Mine isn't in the 10's but runs good for having a 224 cam. It will go quicker when I get my suspension dialed in.

Bruce/Harold,
We all need to be down @ MIR to beat up on the stangs and vipers. I'll try to keep the MPH under 135 for the boys down @ MIR. I am shooting for 140 on the new motor

Phillip, are they having a Vette, Viper,F-body shootout at MIR soon? I'll be there if they do.

H82BAD-I was going to come to the shoot out at BG, But something came up and I had to cancel my plans to come.

Harold and Stu- You know Larry and me both have something for you. Don't sing it, bring it.

This is suprising. I would have thought 10s would have been in the bag with all these 400+rwhp cars around here.

Getting into the 10's is not as easy as some would think with H/C cars. The people that have done it, have well setup and driven cars. Props to them, wish I could get into the 10's too.
