never thaught of changing them . why should be? do you change your factory one before? i never heard of that springs need to be changed? i heard some dual springs has some issues so its need to be changed after while.

I know if you call Comp they'll tell you 30k miles.
This is kind of a arbitrary number they've picked though since at lower stresses (like .600" of stroke on our tester) we can't fail a PAC-1218 (918) in a reasonable period of time.
Oh and this is assuming you got good 918s in the first place.

but before i install heads i had 918s on my TR224 for a year then i give it to my brother with the cam and its still run perfectly ,now will complete 2 years without any hassels. but how can i check it??

15k miles is what i always was told to change them at just to be safe . now i know they are stronger than factory without question . though on performance applications it would be worth the peace of mind and the $150-$200 for a new set than try to break the world record for how long a set of valve springs holds up till it drops a valve .

believe me, its no fun dropping a valve, ive done it with old comp springs before 918 beehives were popular, no fun at all. eyelashed a piston, and i didnt even know until i finally got a head off. done it 1 mile from my house thank god.

Comp wants to sell springs so they're going to low ball the mileage. Of course, they do want to give to low of a mileage number or they call into question the reliability of their own springs. You need to individually check the seat pressure to decide if it's time for a replacement.

There are so many variables in determining how long a spring will last that it's extremely difficult to predict.
RPM, length of time it see's those higher RPMs, lift, how aggressive the acceleration ramps on your cam are, heat, overall valvetrain dynamics...
