Default MS4 Cam

I am in the process of buying a cam, like everyone else in these threads. I'm Stuck on the MS4 but the car is kinda my daily driver, would this cam work with my mods(listed below)?

It would work, but a MS4 is a decent size cam.

It might be a little hard to drive as a daily driver. If you decide to take this route, just make sure you get a real good tune.

yea thats alot of cam for a dd. im not sure on the specs of hand but even the ms3 is a 236/242 and thats alot for a dd in my opinion. I think anything bigger than that and your gonna be changing out valvespring on a 5-10k mile basis. I think, someone correct me if im wrong on any of this

Yea i figures it was a lil to much for a DD, but ill b getting my truck runnin so its all good. But the main thing is that i just wanted to make sure i absolutely won't have to do anything else. I should be fine on the stock rear hopefully?

236/242 isn't that big of a cam to kill valve springs that quick. I ran a 256/263 with 638 lift solid roller with more miles than that on a set of springs.

Stock rear has nothing to do with the cam really, 30-40 more hp isn't a big deal, I've seen/ broke gears on a stock motor as well as seen broke gears on a modified motor.

If it is manual it is easier to do.

Autos last longer and are not really a problem until you start putting slick/drag radials and running bigger stalls.

For the car to be streetable at all your gonna need an aftermarket tune on a dyno. If you think that Superchips Tuner is gonna work then you can forget it.
