Meziere Street Electric WP Results and Impressions
Okay for all you dyno junkies here's the graph: Meziere WP dyno graph
The pump showed a very consistent 6-8rwhp results. We went as far as dynoing the car with the stock pump, then with the Meziere Ele. pump, and then put the stock pump back on again. This was done on a mild heads and cam car and results would be more like 10+ on a stock heads and cam car due to lower HP and Torque.
One thing that was very interesting was how quick the temps recovered after several back to back dynos. Temps never got over 190 degrees and immediatly started going down as soon as the car came to an idle, instead of going up another 6+ degrees like the stock pump did. With the engine off and the pump running temps reached below 140 degree in about 10 minutes. This would be an awesome mod for a track car even if it showed 0 horsepower.
We will be taking preorder now and will contact every customer with the price when it becomes available. As of right now we don't know pricing or availability, probably over $500 and about 4-6 weeks. If you have any questions just let me know.

gawd I wish those were cheaper awesome results! 6-10hp is a pretty nice gain, espically if you have mostly all bolt ons already!
If you give me one, ill slap a sticker of TR on my rear window LMAO HAHAH had to try

Great info, glad to see it tested. I'd like to reproduce those results on my setup. The price is pretty steep though, but for heads/cam guys wanting the last bit of horsepower this may be a required mod.
So, does it fit fine on C5's too?

We will doing test fitments on a C5 in the next day or so. We will also be testing on a truck as soon as we get an electric fan installed.

damn, wish i could afford that.. my waterpump bearing is almost gone, im gonna need a new pump soon.. i think a OEM pump is around 200 dollars.. if the electric pump was down more like 400 dollars i would probably be able to swing it.

My car showed a 8rwhp gain at peak also, and improvements all across the board in HP and TQ. I'll get the graph up later on. For those concerned about streetability it is awesome. I just sat on the interstate in traffic for 30 minutes and the temp never got above 182 and never below 170. This is a definite must for track guys and people looking for more HP.

I'm tired of ordering things as soon as they come out...I think that I am going to wait until these have been out for a few months until I jump on the bandwagon.
One other thing that I don't really like is that the pump weighs about the same as the stock pump...too bad, if it were a few pounds lighter I would be more inclined to pick one up.
In all reality, I will probably pick one of these up later on just because you can leave the pump running with the car off in the staging lanes.

Now let me be here, but...
When Joe dyno'd his EWP, didn't he get about 15 RWHP out of it, when combined with tuning - pretty much across the board?
Why "so low" (half) on the Mez?
This is about what LT1 cars dyno when switching to the Mez pumps. But those only cost about $180.
Me, I just want to minimize drag at 7k RPMs.

Camaroholic, Joe's was reverse cooled and he said that was probably part of the reason it made so much power way back when he tested it. The meziere is not reverse cooling.
Does it matter enough to change it by 7rwhp? I have no idea.

To make it to where the water pump doesn't suck as much power you would need an underdrive pully correct? But you wouldn't have to worry about it if it was electric. So could you still get benefits from both the pully and the pump?
And what is the estimated life on these? And can you get the motor rebuilt or do you have to buy a new one??

Yes, all cars tested had an ASP underdrive crank pulley. Gains would have been higher with a stock crank pulley in place.

Yes, the pre-production versions were not anodized. They will be still offered with the current finish if desired.
