I still want to know the lifespan of this pump. One just might as well take a lighter and burn that $500 if you have to replace the damn thing every two or three years because it burned out.

they are saying 3000 hrs, I thought I heard.. now for mathmatically challenged...
driving 24hrs day..= 125 straight days
or 5 hrs a day = 600 days..
I believe... , if you take that 5hrs..and averaged 30 mph, would be 90,000 miles..so at averaging 70 on the highway..=210,000 miles
So it is a long time...
Hell even If I'm wrong by 50% its still 45,000-105,000 miles

Yes,
When will it be available and how do I get on the pre-order list ? I'd email Thunder directly but I never seem to get a response for some strange reason.

The new Meziere WP319 will have a two year unlimited mileage warranty. As far as having to replace it every few years, don't worry. On average a complete rebuild would be less than 100 dollars.

Is there a way the flow rate can be measured and compared to the mechanical pump (both measured on the car)? I've been told to never ever use an electric water pump on a street car.
