JMX ...your so modest! You should team up with Hillary and write a best-selling book that sells big time!
Hey, I'd buy it and I even hate books; the last one I read was 25 years ago!
Did you find anyone bold enough to go for a short-block engine swap in your garage? ...I would pay a small fee to see this documented....

Great can't wait.
Will you be taking your tool box (small, medium, large hammers and a Brownie camera) with you or will you borrow a good set and buy a throw away digital?
Warning - the hammers are hard to get on a plane these days...
Why don't you come to Westchester NY instead; it rains too much in Portland...
I assume the motor and tranny will be top loaded, right?
I only did this once in my life with a lift and air tools; it took two days - 1970 Ranchario!!!! ...can't believe some here who do it in a few hours - how is this possible?

Great lopey idle! Sounds like a Muscle Car from the 60's-70's. If the mixture is ok, I would keep it like that.

Ed, nice sounding lope on the TR224 . . . I can't wait to get mine installed. BTW, is yours on a 112 or 114 LSA, and through what exhaust system?

Hey! GOtta defend my hood, yo!
It hasnt been raining much at all since April. nice and sunny in the 80s today, with some 90s expected in a couple days. We'll get a shower every week or two throuhg October.
But yeah... Between October and April, it rains all day every day. But it never snows or freezes, and frankly, I like that better than NY winter weather

Re: Heads & Cam Installed!
Visceral:
...not to mention the high heating bills in NY too right? I could buy an MTI motor with one years' bills!
Did you buy the MTI motor on a whim;? did you consider buying the engine components yourself and asking JMX to do the work for free? I mean, what could be more cost effective?
How Visceral will your new MTI motor be?
