Default ls2 in an f-body?

if you get an LS2 and put it in an F-body. do you need to get a new wiring harness and/or CPU or anything else like that? what if you went with a shortblock?

just wondering if this is a straight engine swap or will anything need to purchased extra?

also will ls1 headers for an f-body fit on an LS2?

It will all work. You will only need a LS2 conversion kit which you can get from SDPC. It comes with a few harness extensions and misc. covers, sensors, etc...

Just make sure you get an LS2 with a 24X reluctor

You need to extend the cam position sensor wires the the front of the block and swap 2 wires (dont remember what ones).

Everything else bolts right up.

The extender comes in the LS2 conversion kit... However the 2 wires may still need to be swapped if the vendors haven't fixed the problem yet.
