Arrow FORGED 347 for N2O WHAT DO I NEED AND WHERE DO I GET IT

I am curious if I just want to build a 347 forged for n2o where can i get the parts and what brand do you reccommend also can I use the stock crank and also are the 98 ls1 block reliable for a 200-250 shot with all forged internals I will have a local machine shop put it together please make a list of everything that i need and where can i get it thanks.

Stock crank along with a 98 block will be fine. Make sure you get some ARP or Katech rod bolts for piece of mind.

You will need pistons with a 3.905" bore.

just know at tsp you can get a short block 347 starting at 2799 that's prob cheaper then build it your self as I have found out.

sorry to hijack, but for a 346 using the mahle 3.898 pistons, do you not have to do any machining at all, just break it down and reassemble the motor in your garage?

Debatable. If the douchebag I bought my rods from would have sent them to me I'd have a complete rotating assembly for $570.

what would also be some good heads to go along with that also I would run a big nitrous cam or maybe the ms4 or ms3 from what i hear they work very good with nitrous

i think some type of prc or pp ls6 style head would be a good match if your on a budget. or some afr if you have the $$

Money wise if you wait for the Patriot Predators to come out I think those would be the best option. I'm not a fan of off the shelf grinds so I'd have something ground specifically for your desires and goals.

We have plenty of 347 short-blocks in stock & on crazy end of year specials! I Bet I even have a awesome 347 short with stainless ring upgrades for huge nitrous!

how much nitrous will tsp shortblocks with the stailess ring upgrades will handle? with a good tune and a set of your heads

If the block is in good shape you'll be alright. But yes it will at least need a hone.

call tsp... if it were my engine i would go with a direct port 200 shot

that is exactly what i was thinking about the 10 bolt. I currently have nitro daves plate they say is good for up to 250 shot
