Question Question about my 427

With a proper tune this should not be a problem with 98 octanes?

cranck shaft callies 4.000

rods H-PEM eagle 6.125

piston je pore 4.000 cerameck coated dome volume +10 custom

gaskets cometic pore 4.160 thickness 61

heads afr 225 cc flow 350 2.080 1.060

oil pumps slp

pore 4.125

strock 4.000

cylinder 8

piston volume + 10 dome

heads 72

gaskets th. 0.0 61

= cui. 428

What is your dynamic compression, I run 12:1 on our 98 Octane (dubai) with no issues.

What is your piston to deck height value (in or out of hole and by how much)

Also I would run TR6 or similar 1 step or 1.5 step COLDER plug gapped at .035>.040

I show your SCR closer to 12:9:1 instead of 12:5. No way I would trust 93 at 12:5, much less 12:9.

93 PON or 93 RON? Big difference in those two fuels. If it is not PON, then you need to find the average of the RON and the MON. Over here, we use PON exclusively. I know some overseas stuff is only RON, so be carefull.
It would still be iffy even on 93PON. You would have to have a really conservative spark call. It sounds like a great combo for E-85, but I am 99% sure that isn't available to you.

98 Octane here (premium pump) is equivalent to 94 Octane US standards.
it is good sh*t. As i mentionned I run 8.9 DCR, 12:1 SCR, TR6 plugs and that pump stuff and i can still shoot 100 shot nitrous with no knock. I do have a tight quench at .035 though and almost 0 oil burn contamination. 26* max spark advance

Yaeh, just start with lower spark advance and a bit more fuel the adjust as necessary.
I would say start with 24/25* range and increase a little at a time. Once you get knock reduce by 1* and that should be the range of operation. If it detonates too much at low timing, then add race fuel and monitor change.
just be careful, mistakes at WOT can be costly.
