Default 100mm MAF and the 1/4 mile

How much wil a 100mm MAF improve quarter mile times and trap speed?

I would say close to 3 seconds and 30mph.

if its on an ls1 (like you name says) stay w/ the stock, its good up to 500hp. but if you HAVE to, go w/ the 85mm fr. SLP. the 100mm was used on the 454lsx fr. TSP so it necessitated bigger.

The only MAF thats might give you 3 seconds and 30 mph is made by Nitrous Express.

I my 408 setup I gained 12 hp and 15 tq from a 85mm. Mine is not the same as TSP but it was homemade. The results are there. I also have a FastToys 88mm lid and 90mm TB

If your that concerned about the MAF being a restriction in your intake path why not just remove it and do a speed density tune? Anyway this isn't the external engine section....
