236/236 .585"/.585" 112 It's a recent grind and only a few people are running around with it, and I know they are pretty happy with it. I'm not going to reveal who they are for their own privacy, but they may chime in. Makes for a good stroker cam. It was designed for people who want a little more then the R1 and something less radical then the S1.

Re: M.T.I. Z1 CAM USERS
I think these cars should run bigger cams like the 236, the old small blok 350's ran cams like that and I know a few guys with 302 fords running cams like that, then if you have a 387 go eith somthing in the 240's

Re: M.T.I. Z1 CAM USERS
The Z1 is the cam I am looking at putting in my 388 all-bore next. The R1 was a little too mild, and the 242/242 lunati gave up too much down low and torque for what it gave me hp wise up top, so Im looking for something more in the middle. It has XE-R style ramps, I think this will really make good power and torque for my setup.

At what RPM would you shift at with this cam? How much advance would you have it set at via adjustable timing chain or have the advance ground in???

Re: M.T.I. Z1 CAM USERS
I believe they used to all be lunati's, but MTI had problems (as did most everyone) with getting consistant grinds and on-time performance from Lunati, so they switched to comp. Ive had two cams from them, the B1 and the R1, and both were comps cams.
