Default MS4 Supporting Valvetrain question

Ok, so after hours of research, pouring over dynosheets, and watching about 439 videos I have decided to go with the Magic Stick 4 Cam. Right now I have SLP intake, no cats, Pacesetter LT's, SLP y pipe, and SLP LM. Within the next couple months I hope to have a FAST 90/90 and within the next years I should have a new set of heads. My question, is there a kit of all the supporting drivetrain components that I need to support the MS4?? If so what is the best one available for the price??? I have been looking through the threads and I havnt seen any.

PS. I am going to be putting a LS2 timing chain on while I am at it

Wow, that made things easy, THANKS

Another question, after the install is it safe to carefull drive it a couple miles to the shop to get it tuned, or does it need to be trailered???

Yep I bought the kit from TSP as well.. Now im changing cams and selling my MS4 for a custom specd cam for me.. You will definitely need to upgrade the valvetrain for that cam though. Also think about getting a ported and shimmed LS6 oil pump while your at it. ..

Now what will the ported and shimmed oil pump do for me?? Is it needed to run the cam, or will it just make it perform better???

so the 7.400 p.r. are ok with the ms4? assuming the heads aren't milled. why the ti-retainers?

You will be fine driving it to get it tuned. Just don't beat on it. Cruising won't hurt it.

The stock oil pump can go bad without warning and if this happens and your at high RPM's or you don't notice it in time its gonna cost you a new motor.

There seems to be a bunch of different recommendations on PR length. I'm running the 7.425's myself. See what TSP recommends and go with that. The Ti-retainers are part of the PRC spring kit. That's about the only way to go as far as springs if you ask me. Patriot springs are the same thing so they are good too.

I've also seen that most people go with the LS2 timing chain. Is this the best timing chain that you can use, or is there an alternative???
