Did you take off the plastic covers where the bell housing meets the block, there might be a bolt hiding back there. And don't forget the long bolts that are near the back of the oil pan on the bottom.

I had this same problem about a week or so ago. They kept asking me if i forgot any bolts, and i said no no no. It was a bolt holding holding it in. The one next to the oil filter. The gasket will not hold it in place, it should fall if you loosened all the bolts. check it again.

I did it with the car on jack stands. No problem with the K member here. You just need to drop it enough to get at the pickup bolt. I wrapped a wire around the base of the pickup bolt to make sure I didn't drop it.

yea, what he said. you should only have to drop the pan about 1 to 1.5 inches.

Got it, i didnt know it was so hard to change a oil pump. I could have put 5 cams in as long as it took me to install the oil pump.
