Question cam suggestions

For my steetable 98/m-6 camaro,just bolt-ons,Lt's,.4.10 gear.looking at a crane 228/230 with 585/585 on 112?anybody running this?I'm still undecided about which intake to get ls6/78mmfast/bbk

Try looking at the Futral Motorsports 228/230 cam

You will like it. STRONG torque thru-out the entire rpm band, hp peaking around 6k or so. 3000-6500 rpm band.

I would suggest having Patrick G custom grind a cam for you. For the extra $25, why not?

An M6 with 4.10's could get away with a little more duration/loss of low end but will be helped with the high gears. but I like your selection that you have made, 228ish and 580-590ish sounds good. But thats my taste.


I would start with the LS6 and see how you like it, if you want more sell it and go bigger later, thats the beauty of the LS6 its cheap and proven, if you dont like it they sell like hotcakes so there is really no loss, except time but intakes are quick and easy to install.

X2 on the LS6 and I like your cam choice but you could go a little bigger with your gear.
