TSP 100mm Prototype MAF Results!!
Guys we just finished more testing on the all new Texas Speed 100mm Mass Air Flow & the results look awesome!
The 100mm maf package will include a new 100mm maf housing, maf sensor, adapter harness fo your year model, and rubber coupler!
This combo has shown the following dyno results from swapping the SLP 85mm maf for this maf with no other changes!!
SLP 85 MAF Dyno Sheet:
After Install TSP 100mm MAF
All I can say is don't rush out & buy a 85mm maf / lid combo just yet! We should have the TSP 100mm setup with lids ready very very shortly!

Can we get a guestimate as to when we can expect to see the 100mm lid and MAF available? Are we talking like early January, or closer to March? I cant wait to see what kind of hp increase I will see over my 78mm lid and stock MAF on my 413 cid ls2. Especially with gains like that over an 85mm setup.

So, just out of curiosity, what 100mm throttle body and intake would this be used with? A FAST bored out to 100mm?
And, who should be looking at this? I mean, a bolt-on daily driver would probably experience very little in the way of peak gins while suffering important below-the-curve power, right? I'm thinking this is for super-inch engines like the LSX 454 in the graph, right?

Well considering different MAF's can read different airflows at the same output voltage, we havnt learnt anything yet. If AFR was identical then we can start making informed comments
Until then we havnt learnt anything.
(ie) If 5000hz = 200g/sec on 85mm maf on 100mm it might be 220g/sec leading to a leaning out of the mixture as the PCM is told 5000hz = 200g/sec not the 220 thats passing through.
Run 1 might be 12:1 and run 2, 13:1 for example...
Personally Id prefer no MAF at all

Jason's been running around like crazy and hasn't been in the shop much to post this week. Both runs were tuned to the MAF, as the calibration is different. Similar to swapping a stock 75mm to a stock Z06 85mm maf as far as base tuning, the scaling has to be changed. Jason has been working on a stock F-body calibration that will come on a sheet included with the 100mm MAF to give guys a very close starting point, but ultimately should need some tweaking on individual cars. With absolutely no tuning the setup would have been way off.
Hopefully that makes sense to someone, I don't tune LS1's myself.
