I would say between 600-700rwhp. The pistons and rod bolts are the weak links. Alot would depend how good of shape the motor is in to start with. You can do any thing once or twice. 500 rwhp you can do repeatably.

how many times did you spray the 250 shot........ I thought 150 shot was the "safe" high point for spray in stock bottom end ls2's?

Slowgoat was spraying 200 on his LS2 running 10.3x's. I think that car had more "Gas" run through it then gasoline. Motor was still running fine when pulled for a stroker at 65K. I hear the crank is good for 1000, but the rod bolts are the weak link.

Put in some good rods and pistons...take it up to 900-1,000 hp with the stock crank. Don't think one has ever been broken, but they flex which causes problems.

Thanks for posting this question man, I was wondering the same thing. I will be running a turbo and looking to get into the 700whp range so this has been on my mind.

I'm at or just above 600, rods and pistons are gonna be your only problem. best bet is just to throw a set of rods and pistons in er' and call it a day.

NastyC6 no response?

An engine that has been shot with a 250 shot 50+ times is not bone stock. I'd take non response to this as a "yes I fucked him"
