its probably doable, but then u have nowhere to go the next time... how about selling the 60 overs and buying some 10 or 20 overs?

well the block sits at .030 right now and 3 of the sleeves are scratched. .040 over pistons run me half of what the stroker kit costs so i might as well go all out with the .060

Do it. Mine went .070" no problem; but I did fill mine up to the water pump passage with HardBlok.

I had a 4.060 bore iron block back in 2000-2002. I was told that the machine shop would need to look the block over, and make sure that core shift was not a problem.

Yeha I have that book, they say .030" over is the max for power adders, and .060" over is the max for all motor engines. the block should be sonic tested for anything over .060"

get it sonic tested first.
then decide if it will handle the stress of a strojker assembly.
with stock crank mine is at .060 over, 490rw n/a 200 shot and going on 50k miles

I believe the fastest LSx truck runs a 414 cid ( 60 over 4" stroke 6.0 iron) from HKE. It's not something we recommend but it can be done quite successfully.

We like to leave some clean up room in a block but if your not worried about a rebuild if something goes wrong then it shouldn't be a problem.
