Lsx ls3 head vs l92 head
It seems to me that the Lsx ls3 head might be a better choice then the standard l92 head. Sure from a price point the l92's can't be beat but they have some limitations to them as well. This lsx ls3 head to be very nice with the capability to flow over 400 cfm and extra thick deck so you can mill a litile bit. Has anyone used them. I think Iam going to put them on my ls2.

I am pretty sure they will not flow 400cfm but they are a really nice head. They have hollow intake and sodium filled exhaust valves. They are also 6 bolt heads which is nice. This was my first choice for heads but saw that the lsx-ls9 head has been released which comes with titanium intake valves. You really can't go wrong with the lsx style heads.

well my main problem with the l92 head is that I dont want to loose any compression. If I mill them that kills my ptv. I am not into flycutting. From the looks of these I can mill and keep my stock compression and not flycut.

yes they will bolt up but I think the main benefit from these heads is the 6 bolt design. If you are not going to use the 6 bolts then a standard ls3 head would probably be better for your application in my opinion.
