Default L76 G8 - head upgrade

What would be a good head upgrade on a L76 (LS2 with LS3 heads)?

current mods:
cam: 236/242 617/627 lsa114+4
Kooks 1 7/8 LT's
3000 stall

Existing G8 L76 owner here.

Based on the size of cam you are going to run, take a look at PRC LS3 aftermarket heads.

The valve angle on these heads provides better PTV clearance for your application.

I'd take a look at the LPE Ls3 heads polished and ported really nice. And use the extra cash for a fast 102. Just my .2.

What are your goals and budget?

Mill and port your exsisting heads and spend the rest on bolts ons. I just got my heads completely worked for $505. I can give you the guys contact info if interested. Hes really popular in the G8 world and does great work for a good price.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work done to my LS3 heads at AI...I'm still tuning, haven't been to the dyno yet, but my car is making killer power compared to what it used to do. I went with the 275cc setup.
