Default Mast LS3 256's or Trick Flow GenX 255's ??

LS2 about 13.1-13.5cr, 700" lift, Super Vic with carb, and 200-400 nitrous. Minor weight reduction

I am liking the Mast heads but the more I look the more I see they are very much alike and I think I can get the TF's a little cheaper. Any thoughts or at this point is it more up to preference?

Didn’t know whether to post this in the internal or external area but I found a few more posts about heads in here.

Both heads are really the same in design 12 degrees. TQ & HP will be very close.

All those heads which has come up are great no way to go wrong -however there's new mayor player coming to the arena, RHS has a small bore ls7 head with crazy flow numbers using the ls7 intake which takes away the reason for a high ram carb style single plane intake and promises big power worth considering....

Check them out....

if you use the lingrnfelter one, you need lash caps, and you can use ls2,3 style intakes. but need arp studs due to thicker bolt clamping surfaces

The Mast heads are GREAT heads also TFS 255 but.... I like everything tweaked to my spec's. If I were buying any LS based non racing head it would be a bare set of RHS non Cnc'ed heads. Then set-up to match my engine combo size RHS heads can get just as big as Mast 305's or as small as 260 cc's. Have my boy Chris Frank port'em. And Mast/TFS heads are just a thing of the past. They flow better than the Brodix and other heads that Chris has done he has a post about there RHS stage 1thru3 on yellow bullet. He also has a post on there factory LS3 heads making 756fwhp with a combo (duration is about the same I do have more lift both pump-gas) very similar to my combo 414 vs 408. They used stage 2 heads and I am using stage1 heads. I have both the Super Vic and Vic Jr both set up for EFI. Stage1= More TQ mostly 4 street use.

1 thing I will never understand why get heads that flow over 370cfm and use a intake that WILL NOT SUPPORT the head for it's intended use.. Darn most people would have to run a cowl or go hacking on the hood. Hemi Shaker on a Cutlass any1 ?

The factory can support any of our needs it really comes down 2 cash flow because RHS bare heads are dirt cheap. They just would like a custom Cnc program.
Chris also stated that they made 720fwhp with a hyd roller on a 414 with there small bore RHS head 390cfm @ 670 lift. 4.060 thru 4.100 bore using 2.150 int valves.
