Default TEA TFS 245s. Question.

Finally made the decision, cathedral 245s by TEA. These guys seem to have good success and I wasn't quite ready to change out my intake for square ports.

Anyway, I also upgraded to 7/16" Crower Shaft Mount Rockers. They will be setup for a very healthy solid cam.

Will the Crowers fit under a stock valve cover? If not, whats a good aftermarket set to pickup? I don't want spacers.

Are these heads straight off the shelf or will any additional work be performed? I know TEA offers a nitrous exhaust port that should benefit your combo.

I'm about 99% certain the Crowers don't fit under the stock valvecovers as most shaft rockers won't.

I'm running Proform valvecovers, whom I believe cast some of the Chevrolet valvecovers for GM. I got the ones without a logo and had them powder coated black. They even have beveled edges so they'll fit behind Corvette accessories.

I used the same, but because of the raised covers and raised vc rail on the heads? I couldn't fit them without moving the alt a bit, and grinding the back of the bracket.

Yeah, I guess if the VC rail is raised on the heads, it may be an issue. I fit them on a buddy's C6 grand sport since the fabricated ones hit his alternator and they fit great, but they were on some ported GM castings and not a TFS head.

Seriously looking at the nitrous port option. But, I wonder how that would affect N/A performance, if at all.

what is a "VC Rail" and how would the valve covers affect this? I will have
LS3 block w/the TFS heads and prob these covers.

Valvecover rail. It's the part of the head where the valve covers seal against. Aftermarket heads often have it raised ~.250" or more. Not sure about TFS heads.

I am using an older style mast head.

I had to build a bracket thay swung the alt over towards the fender.

On the pro form yes. The coil brackets come with everything needed to bolt up a coil.

there are threaded holes on covers.

a bracket bolts to that. Then individual brackets bolt to that for each coil.

I see you said, for the Pro Form, yes. know of any other recommended ones that don't require attachments for brackets?
