No offense to you or anyone else, but I'm still not impressed with vinci cams/rockers. It seems like you have to spend more money to be on par with others that have spent less. JMHO

i guess one way to look at it is that they use less cam to make as much as others with more aggressive ramps. less agressive ramps, means less wear on components. less valvetrain noise as well. which seems to be the big to do around here. from what i read, most don't like the idea of swapping springs, and doing routine maintainence on their valvetrain. so, you spend a little more upfront to lengthen the duration between 'check ups'. and having a quiet valvetrain as not to trip off knock sensors.

what i find intersting is the power gain going from 1.8 accelerated lift rockers to the new 1.7 shaft mounted rockers. took away the added lift of the 1.8 and still gained.
