Hood looks like a ribbed condom, LOL. Probably just the ticket to vent off high pressure air at high speeds though. Bet the Zaino crowd will hate them...too much water and dust to get into the engine compartment, haha.

any pics of the hood from the back side view? Wondering of the vents are functional and open.

I notice the heat under the hood of my C6 is pretty bad after a few runs, these Vettes are too insulated under there.

I just drove the car with the new hood. Oil and coolant temperatures are 10-20 degrees cooler than previously in similar ambient temperatures.

The hood is a tad too flashy for me, but I think it looks pretty darn good. Great work as always Jason!

Mike. Please dont take this at all personal. Its just an unspoken peeve of many here.

Soapbox/

Dyno numbers?
Dyno.... numbers ??

WHO.... cares ?? I just dont understand the "keep up with Johnny Dyno Number" / "Asshat" mentality around here. I swear, most pouge's place the all mighty dyno number over everything else. And why ??

Tell ya what, we should take ole' Fellow's or O'Connell and put them into a stock C6 and then we'll put each and every one of you "Johnny Dyno Number Asshat's" into a C6 Zo6. Underpowered and heavier they will still pound your *** into mother earth without the grand dyno numbers you all put onto a pedestal.

Chassis > driver = nothing.

Driver > chassis = nothing, except he will most likely kick your *** with less power.

Driver and chassis = winning races.

/Soapbox

BTW Jason. The world is a better place to be in with Katech around. Thanks for sharing the new chassis schwag..... some may like it and some may not. But that is the difference in the world we live in. Some are "form over function" and some "function over form"..... but at least from you cat's, we get both.
