Default Quick Question for you l92's gurus

I have a 408 that made 452hp/425tq with afr 205 66cc heads, -12 pistons, and The cam is a 244/248 .612/615 115

This was with a stock auto, rear end, intake and compression around 10:2 to 1
Also, had 1 3/4 headers.

My question is, Would it be worth it to change to some ported l92's and the l76 intake or just upgrade to a fast intake and better headers?

Do you think with l92's I can get over 500rwhp?

You would not be able to get any compression out of the l92 with your dished pistons.
I am building an l92. If I were you I would go with the fast and better exhaust. If you did that and got the comp to 11/1 you would get some gains.

definately better money wise to sell the AFR 205's, intake, little headers, etc. Get a set of ported/assembled L92's, L76 intake package, and 1 7/8 to 2 " headers. If you can manage to easily raise the CR, you will gain a lot of power.

Stock auto aint gonna live long, get a RPM built 4L60E for $1600-2000 and stick a nasty converter in it.
