Default LS7 Timing Chain/Belt Aftermarket Exist?

Does an aftermarket exist yet for the ls7 for dual roller timing chains or belt setups (that still let you keep the factory dry sump)?

Who makes it if they are out yet?

katech offers the C5R chainb for $139, thats what I.m using on my ls7 454 build with the stock lower and upper gears. you may be able to split up an aftermarket LS2 set for a billet cam gear too.

my build is for 1500 rwhp and I plan on spinning to 8500 though.. i don't think i should trust a single chain and stock gear(s)

Bill, wouldn't you only need an LS2 style timing set?

only thing your going to run into is clearance with the cam retainer plate if you go with double roller chain, I sent 'Noyzee' a JP double row LS2 timing set, hes had his car going 8.90.

Rollmaster LS2 chains arn't stateside yet.

but what about the crank gear/drive? it needs to drive the dry sump gerotor pump still... i'm running the factory dry sump.

Are you the guy I gave the crank to on wednesday at 8 pm?

Guys, I need to figure out something ASAP. I need a timing drive that can handle a solid roller/high rpm/high hp setup that will still drive the stock ls7 dry sump pump. PLEASE!

i got a j&p timing chain set that says its for an 05 Corvette with LS7 7.0 liter motor.. but the crank drive looks like it's same length as a stock ls1. I'm going to leave it in the package so its returnable and pick up a stock ls7 crank gear and eyeball it..

I can't believe theres no aftermarket yet..
