Default reccomend an engine builder

looking for some1 reputable but not rediculous on expense...id have it built local but i dont know if i trust anyone...
need a ls2/ls3 block
stock ls1 crank
forged rods and pistons to go with some 317 castings for now...goal is around 950 hp
ill also be getting some heaad studs gaskets ect to put this thing together
and a custom cam

umm ill have a small 88mm snail under the hood helping things along...
the 317 i dont expect to make over 800...if they do without pushing much water great...they will be upgraded to afrs...but as for now i need to get used to the car ect so they will be one of my budget things now that i can save on and upgrade later....

I would look at HKE if you don't mind having it built OOT.
If you want to keep it in the DFW area, Hans Feustal. He does Wolfes motors, so he knows a thing or two about turbo motors.

Kinda far. But prices are good and Daves is easy to deal with. He owns Canadian Performance. May be worth a call and he is a sponsor. He knows his shiite. At those power levels a crate will require a tuner to get it done. Cheers.

Try giving Futral a call. I know he has built a good amount of race engines. I have personally seen about 4 turbo projects he has done or working on. They are some sick cars and most people run them on the street.
