Default Cam for my 427 stroker

Well after doing some research I've found a cam I like. Specs as follows:

250/266 .632/.632 112LSA

The motor is a L92 based 427 with CNC ported L92 heads milled to 64cc, hollow stem valves, P&P L92 carb style intake, P&P 90mm TB.

Does this cam look like a good option? I felt that it would work well due to it's stong exhaust side. Knowing that the exhaust is where the L92 heads seem to fall behind. Just looking for opinions. Thanks

Looks okay to me, maybe a wider LDA to cut down some overlap though.(113-115range) ICL in the 110-112 range also.

personally having tried 4 different cams in my LS7 ported head 427 ranging from a 238 to 252 intake and 254 to 268 exhaust I like the mid 240 range intake and high 250 range for exhaust. Especially if it is driven on the street its a pain to tune in. Just my .02 worth.

It's mainly gonna be a weekend driver. I was going to daily drive it but I got another vehicle to commute in so the car is now just a toy. I figured I would give it a shot and see how it runs.

The ms4 cam isn't any bigger than the cam I ran in my stock LS2. I'm wanting something mean and aggressive. I sent a spec sheet to Crane on my setup. I'm sure they will get me fixed up.

Trust me, if you threw a QM600 in that thing you would be happy! This is by far an all around great cam for a 427 stroker. Go over to the Corvette board and do a search and you'll find all the imformation you need.Traver

If you want aggressive, mean, and loud, then go with the GM Stage3 Hot Cam - 233in 276ex on a 107 595in lift.

I drive the car daily and with no problems pulls really hard from 2200 to 6200 - hang on!! Absolutely love the cam.

Here is the idle video -

Car sounds good Capo.

Im running a 259/267 @50 on a 115 in my 422, I drive it quite a bit on the street with zero drivability issues. Thanks in large part to the great tune put into it. Im still running 1 3/4" headers and managed to pull 550.4/504 Rwhp/Tq on a Dyno jet. It dipped into the tens on the first track appearance at 3800# and running four year old whored out 26/10.5 ET streets. Also couldnt launch over 4500 without killing the tires and my 60', Im very pleased to say the least.

I've got a TSP 251/259 on 111 .660 lift cam going in my L92 based 427. Should be completed by the end of the month (april).
