Default ls1 crank into ls2 block

will my 2002 crank work in a new ls2 block?

because mine has 15,000 miles on it and its not worth anything used.

i figure ill use it in a 364 build for my procharger to offset some cost for the additional conversion parts.

YES it will but since the ls1 is setup for use with a 3.9 bore or if u want to ge technical, 3.897 bore
and the ls2 is a 4.00 bore,

Is not the only issue the slightly heavier pistons? I thought the rods were the same?

Rods are probably the same, not sure....just included rods because you'd nomally take them with you when you got the rotating assembly balanced.

Essentially the same....probably have different balancing weights tho, due to different pistons used.
