Hi my name is Bill. This is my first time posting in LS1 tech. I was a moderator at firebirdV6.com a long time ago. I have been a f-body owner since 1986 when I bought my first 1986 Firebird SE.

Currently I own three F-Bodies.

I have a 2000 WS6 with Lingenfelter 427 LS6
I have a 1997 Firebird
My wife has a 1998 Formula

My WS6 has run a 11.220@123 on motor spinning out of the hole with a 1.866 60 foot on MT Drag radials. The car weighs 3800-3900 with me in it. I’m a big boy.

The build in the WS6 is:

POWER PLANT:

Custom 7.0 L Lingenfelter 427 LS6
Darton modular sleeve assemblies
ARP 8740 premium grade head studs
Lingenfelter CNC ported and polished 243 casting LS6 cylinder heads
2.100” Stainless steel intake valves
1.57" Stainless steel exhaust valves
Three angle valve job, correct setting of spring tensions
Comp Cams valve springs and titanium retainers, 10 degree locks and valve stem seals
Custom designed G-11 LPE hydraulic roller camshaft
215/231 Duration - 631 Lift intake - 644 Exhaust - 118 Centerline
Custom JE forged aluminum pistons
Custom Callies 4340 forged steel crankshaft - 4.00" stroke
Manley fully machined 4340 forged steel connecting rods - 6.125" long

KOOKS Long Tube Race Stepped Headers (1 3/4 to 1 7/8 to 3 inch outlet)

TRANSMISSION:

Rossler Performance Terminator 3 - Heavy Duty Transmission with
4L65 hardened shaft Modified Lube Circuit, Modified pump to HP specs. Installed high RPM pump slide spring, Modified input drum (prevents input drum breakage at spline area), Installed HP 3-4 9/clutch pack, Installed Ross/lock™ ¾ clutch kit (20% more surface area than normal HP 9 clutch kits), HP reinforced mounting lugs 2nd gear, Band 18% (more holding power than normal HP type bands), Modified bearing kit-ring gear support hub (eliminates brass washer wear), Installed Heavy Duty sun gear shell (prevents breakage at spline), Reprogrammed valve body Ross/Lock ™, Installed Corvette type 2nd gear Servo kit, 4th gear billet servo kit, 2nd Gen. My Firebird V6 has run a 13.967@90.42 with a 1.776 60 ft. Remember, I’m still a big boy.

The build in the Firebird V6 is:

Performance modifications include a NOS 90HP nitrous kit #5175,
MSD 8.5mm wires
NGK TR6 spark plugs
MSD DIS-4 ignition
160° thermostat
SLP cold air induction system
Removed MAF throttle body screen
Random Technology 3" highflow cat
Edelbrock 3" in/dual out catback exhaust
9.5" Vigilante 2800 stall converter
TransGo shift kit
Perma-Cool transmission cooler,
ES Polyurethane transmission mount
1LE aluminum driveshaft,
G2 driveshaft safety loop,
Hotchkis strut tower brace, lower trailing arms, panhard bar, and subframe connectors. Firestone Firehawk 245/50ZR16 front tires
Nitto 245/50R16 drag radial rear tires.
Factory Y87 performance package and W68 appearance package


The wife’s Formula is totally stock and has not ran at the track

thats awesome man. thier is a pretty big NOVA car group for f-bodys i used to be part of, do a google search. I used to be part of them when i was in the corps at quantico in 04-06. They are the f-bodyhideout. thye do pretty cool **** for 9/11 called ride for pride its just a badass cruise! Sweet cars by the way man!

Welcome the tech. Are you by chance the 427 that's friends with chris (raven)?? I was at chik-fil-a with him and he said a 427 bird was going to show up but i had to leave early Anyway i'm sure if your in sterling i'll see it out at chik-fil-a on fridays.

Also what gyrene2003, check out the f-bodyhideout. All the locals are on there and more meets on that site.

00T/AWS6, Thanks for the heads up on F-Body Hideout. I'm already a member there. To answer your question, yes I am Chris (Raven's) good friend with the 427 and I do go to Chik-Fil-A on Friday nights when I can. I plan to be up there this Friday. You can't miss me im a very big boy (over 350 lbs).
