New guy from MD with a GTA
Hey! Just joined the site, I've been over at thirdgen.org for years, but figured I'd check this place out too. I have an '89 GTA that's slowly getting slightly less slow as the years go by LOL. My best time with it is a 14.01@101, but that was before I changed from a 3.27 rear to a 3.70. I can't wait for spring to come so I can run it again!
Here's what I've done to it:
Intake/Exhaust:
-Doug's long tube headers
-Custom y-pipe
-SLP 2OTL
-SLP cold air intake w/K&N
-SLP throttle body airfoil
Fueling
-Bosch Design III injectors
-Walboro 255 lph pump
Cooling:
-Champion aluminum radiator
-180* thermostat
Drivetrain:
-McLeod Super StreetPro clutch
-Pro 5.0 shifter w/UMI short stick
-T/A aluminum differential cover and carrier bearing stud kit
-Yukon 3.70 ring and pinion
-Polyurethane engine, transmission, & torque arm mount
Chassis/Suspension:
-Koni adjustable struts (the yellow ones)
-Global West competition springs
-Polyurethane endlinks
-TDS steering brace
-TDS poly-graphite sway bar bushings
-J&M adjustable strut mounts
-UMI SFC's
-UMI adjustable panhard bar
-UMI LCA relocation brackets
-Kenny Brown 3 point STB
-Spohn tubular A-arms w/derlin bushings
-Spohn Bump-Steer kit
Brakes
-LS1 front conversion
-Drilled/slotted rotors
-Stainless braided lines
-EBC Red Stuff brake pads
Nothing too exciting up there at the moment, but it's getting there. I'd love to do an LSX/T56 swap someday.... Here's some pics of it in the meantime:

Thanks for the compliments! Do you MD guys have any get-togethers or cruises or anything? Me and my buddy up there with the '95 T/A usually meet up, but its usually just us haha.

Welcome! I'm right in Bel Air, MD myself. I drive a silver 05 GTO. Not many get togethers to my knowledge except the lowes cruise in which starts back up in the spring. You should go to cruisin' week in Ocean city in May. If you want to do an LS swap I have a LS1 shortblock with an aftermarket cam and has an oil pump already installed.

I run some events up there throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to come out and spectate or participate.

Hey welcome to the site, I've seen you driving around sometimes. Nice car BTW. My school (well the car club there) is hosting a car show May 12th at North Harford High School from 9am to 1pm. I'd love to see some F-bodies there. I will have my dad's pewter 1999 Camaro Z28 with RS ground effects there. I would join you on some cruises, but I don't have a camaro yet. hopefully sometime within the next year I'll have one though.

If anyone has any questions about ther car show May 12th email nhhscarclub@gmail.com
Also, an email confirming your attendance would be preferable so we know how many people will be coming. wow 3 big words in a sentence, I feel intelligent.
