"dlove" and myself are 2 that I know of running LSL lobes. Mine is a 231/235 617/620 and I think his 231/239 with similar lift in a LS2. Valvetrain is a little noisy, but what do you expect with aggressive ramp rates? Good power for a medium dur. cam. I have ~1200 miles on it.

My cam is on its way...its a Pat G grind on LSL lobes..227/231 614/.617 112+2. Should be installed in two weeks. From what I've read (if I can remember correctly) the LSL lobes are slower off the seat than the XFI to help fill the cylinders, but are quicker than them after .05. Just make sure the pushrods are the correct length and the valvetrain noise should be minimized.

Should be an interesting compromise between the XFI and LSK lobes I'd imagine. I looked at the LSL, but decided on the LSK lobes, as they were a bit stronger and didn't fall away as quickly on the DynoSim after 6500rpm. As for valvetrain noise, they are no worse than when I had the XE-lobed Comp 222/224.

Pat just recommended basically the same came for my car except with a 114+1LSL. Are these lobes as hard on the valve train as the XFIs & LSKs are supposed to be. Will we be changing springs every 10,000 miles?

Not too sure, just make sure you select the right pushrod length and the correct valve springs. I went with 7.425 and patriot extremes. I also assume it also depends on how hard and how often you run the car. Im going to learn how to replace springs so I dont have to pay for labor everytime I do have too

back from the dead.
ive got 90 passes on mine and some street miles and its still singing.
buddy put one in his motor. 24x .25x .619 .619
it has over 150 passes on it already.
at what point should you start checking springs on a LSL lobe?
my car hasnt fallen off any, it keeps going faster. it falls off a number ill have to pull a spring and have it checked.
didnt know when you guys were pulling to check pressure.
