I recomnend you to take as much weight you can from the front . do stuff like relocating the battery to the trunk, if your car has egr and air pump take them off. passenger airbag.lighweight carpet and other stuff.

I pulled the front bumper support, there are a lot of things that keep the front bumper bolted on and good.
I have a question for the people who have pulled the back one though. Looks like the only thing holding the rear bumper then will be a screw in the upper part of the quarter panel, and a push pin plastic deal on the lower part of the quarter panel, what supports the bumper then? I was going to pull the back one too, but looks like it will have ZERO support and will sag unlike the front?

It is just those two screws and two push pins that hold it on then? I may still pull the back, its worth what like 18 pounds?? Two so far saying no sag, now I'm getting interested in pulling it again.
Anyone go 150+ with the rear bumper support out?? I do like top speed runs.

I used this list to get my car down to 3185 while still having pass seat, pass seat belt assembly, both airbags, cd player and door speakers, and a/c. I might get rid of the speakers and stereo and take pass seat out for track but the a/c is going to stay. Gets way too hot to not have it. I figure I can get it down under 3100lbs and keep a/c.

Click the, 1993 Z28 Build Thread:https://ls1tech.com/forums/lt1-lt4-modifications/859437-my-new-1993-z28-project.html link. It's also in my sig. I've taken 307lbs out of the car so far in crap. It's a lot of work, but you can make these cars light. By the time I have it operational it should be around 2900lbs with me in it, AC, PS, all the interior panels and, two leather seats.
