Default Oil leak on passenger side? What to check?

I've got a pretty good oil leak towards the back of the motor somewhere on the passenger side. I'm already sick of it because it leaks right on the number 8 primary of my Mac mids, burns, and smokes like a train! LOL You should see the looks I get at stoplights just sitting there smoking under the hood. It's also all on the number 8 spark plug boot too. None on the firewall and doesn't seem very wet behind the intake manifold. What else could it be?

Also forgot to mention it doesn't feel or look wet around the valvecover. The oil spot is about halfway down the primary and on the plug boot as mentioned. No other plug boots have oil on them at all. Unless maybe i torqued the valvecover bolts to much and it caused a leak but it jst started a couple weeks ago and I haven't touched them for at least 6 months. Maybe the dipstick? Could I just feel around there and see if it's wet? Where can i get the gasket or o-ring for that?

I had to have my car towed home because one day i was on the way to a GTG and stopped at a stop light and smoke starts pouring out of the engine bay, through the vents, it was bad. Btw, i get free towing with my insurance company so, get a tow truck, get home, find a pinhole on the dipstick tube where the bracket mounts to it. Paid about 26 bucks for a new one from GM and no problem since

Every time I put one in I have it Brass-Welded around that Bracket to prevent it from leaking. I have bad luck with that.

Just my frustrated $0.02 worth. I HATE leaky cars. I've worked on a LOT of cars over the last 40 years, and my '96 LT-1 has been the most leak prone car I've ever owned....

It was OK for the first 3 years, but after that, it was all downhill.

Hopefully I can pinpoint it before I buy the LPP longtubes. I guess when I pull the Macs off I can see better and have an easier time fixing it.
