LED Tails are installed

LED Tails are installed (NIGHT PICS JUST ADDED)
Ok I installed the Eagle eyes LED Tail lights 2 weeks ago and they look great.. The problem with them is the resistor that ships with them is not powerful enough. The turn signals blink very fast which could be ok for some, but i dont like seeing the green turn signal light blinking on my dash so much.. So i had to go the other route. Get an electronic flasher or get a load equalizer. Well there no electronic flasher for this car so i had to buy the load equalizer.. I got them from v-led for 8 bucks.. I installed them the other night and bam, the signals are now blinking like normal again..
I love the lights, they are very bright and u can see the road light up red behind you in when its dark. There is also these three LED lights on the side of the tail lights that help shine on the sides of your car..
Here are some pics of my install. there really only two since its not complicated. I took these pics from my blackberry storm, so the dark one might not seem very clear...
This is what they look like during the day
in this pic below, this shows where you need to tap into your cars tail light harness. If you take off the plastic covering in your truck right by the latch, you will see wires taped with electrical tape coming out of a gromment hole.. Carefully cut about 5 inch of electrical tape off so you can see the wires and have enough play..The two turn signal wires are the yellow wire and the dark green wire. You will attach one resistor to the yellow and the other one to the dark green using the supplied splices. The other end of the resistors connect to the black wire. That big buldge of electrical tape is where the splices were done..
Lastly, you need to mount the resisitors as they get very very hot. DO NOT mount them behind the tail light, on the tail light, or near anything plastic or near the carpet. You dont want a fire or a melted tail light plus i dont know if they are waterproof.. What i did was i mounted then inside an opening in the trunk frame. If you look at the pic above, u can see the opening.. I mounted them with metal screws and dressed the wires so they dont touch the resistor.. Job complete.. make sure you put electrical tape back on the splices and your done..
once it gets dark, i will post a pic of what they look like at night.. Any questions, ask

yea they are nice and the keep the factory look except seeing all the leds inside.. i am not a fan of the ones that are chrome plated. i like the cool factory red look.. At night there amazing.. just waiting for it to get dark and i get a pic.. by the way if you got verizon, get the blackberry storm.. the phone amazing and these are my first pics with it and it takes pretty good pics, even in darkness..

our back up bulbs sizes are 921.. you can get them from any LED seller, but i got mine from v-led. almost my entire car has LED nows replacing the stock bulbs and i have bought them all from v-led.. good prices also.. the ones i bought are not very bright though b/c there not true backup lights.. i didnt want to spend too much for bulbs.. they have back up leds that start at 20 bucks and they got led surrounding the bulb instead of being in front of it..
