If you dont have a Federal Firearms manufacturing license, you can do some hard time for making un-registered gun parts. Its a major felony. I wouldnt even post that **** on the internet.

It could be legal as long as you go through the right licensing process and have the cash to get all of the licensing.

you only need one licence

07 FFL $ 150 for three (3) years.
class 2 SOT $500 per year

of course depending on where you live there may be other costs involved.

the inspections are not bad and should not be a problem.

There are actually quite a few class 3 dealers in Texas. One of the best supressor mfg's in the world is down around Victoria/Rockport. With the incoming administration I'm not sure trying to start up a class III mfg operation is exactly what I would call intuative.

The real money is also NOT in the civilian market.

I dont think the incomming admin will have a huge effect on NFA stuff. thats just my SWAG.
I am not doing it with the intent to be a very profitable business (if it turned into one then thats great). I would be happy to break even or just make a few bucks doing it.

its more for a hobby and a way to have fun toys
