With a twist of the idle screw, I have a great idle. I am waiting for headers before I tune it for power. I am still down on power because of the headers.

I forgot to say, congratulations!
Have you decided on shorties or LTs yet? Maybe true duals are in your future..I've really wanted to see some results of ported and worked BBK shorties into true duals with H/C...

If Ahhrnold can ride around in CallieFornia in a Hummer then you should be able to install long tubes on your F-body!!!
After 10/7 you should petition him to change the law so it is more favorable to businesses - namely the manufacturors and sellers of exhasut headers..

If shorties would perform, that would be an good option. Seeing how I could pass smog. If I could get to the 400 rwhp with them, I would. But no way.
I have a friend that can make me true duals. Hmmm....
But I am really leaning towards LT's. But I want to find a set that will fit on my car.

Re: TR 224//114 Passes Cali Smog!
I was thinking about going with a new set of headers, till i found out it was going to cost almost $500 to register my car. Good old california. Good to see that cam passed smog Ed, we should put together a thread for any cams that have passed smog in california to see how extreme we can go with them here. Now lets just hope we get a republican in office so we can get our state back from these tree huggin pillow biters that have been running it. If Huffington wins, I'm moving to nevada. =)

However as far as I know, there are no records of shorties getting >= 400 rwhp. That being said, I'd say your best bet if you want to blaze a trail, is the following:
- BBK 1.75" shorties (they're out as of last week!) ($500)
- port matched for sure and coated (~$50)
- extrude honed and CFM matched (although expensive >500, not sure about the gains...)
- Carsound cats (> 400 cfm) (~250 for both?)
- 2.5" True Duals with Siamese X (~800 out the back after cats)
- into 2 high-flow muffs (~200)
total = ~1800 (without extrude hone)
Have you thought about running the above combo? Just curious...with your ls6 intake, heads and cams and the above combo with good tuning, you would be very close to 400 I would bet. An M6 would be for sure. You might have a better chance with a Z06 MAF, as a screened 75mm one may restrict flow at > 6000 RPM, where your peak would be (descreened not for the street apparently..).
Also it would be less loud/obnoxious and pass visual much easier. I talked to Alex @ BBK this afternoon, and they are still trying to get CARB approval. He gave me the impression it is 50/50, as they have submitted everything and done everything...it's just up to CARB now. I'm not asking you to be the test mule for this, just wondering what your thoughts are?
However if you are set on long tubes, FierceLS1 just had his true dual setup done in LA, for $1600. That included custom tri-Y headers, high-flow cats, and bullet mufflers, out the door. Could be another option for ya as well...I'm under the impression this would give you plenty of power for > 400 rwhp, with more tq to boot.

Ed, thanks for posting this up! I'll be getting smogged for the first time with that same cam next month. Since you made it in Cali, I should have no problems here in Utah.
Not many tree huggers here in Utah, thank god, just a lot of Mormons!

Re: TR 224//114 Passes Cali Smog!
Well, you bring up a good issue: will shorties allow the "magic" 400 rwhp??? (especially with an A4...). I have documented 2 A4 cars, with much milder cams (I.e., Comp 220/216 & 224/218) and stall making ~380 with shorties.
