Default Bolt On LT1 Times Inside

I ran a new best today with the old Bolt On LT1.

R/T .072
60' 1.6557
330' 5.018
1/8 7.854
mph 86.53
1000' 10.303
1/4 12.393
mph 106.81

Temp was in the low sixties. I don't know my race weight, but here are the mods.

Pacesetter LT's into a 3" ORY, dumped through a Dynomax Bullet.
Home Made CAI.
AC & PS Delete with a Home Made Alt. relocation bracket.
Front Sway Bar Delete.
Front Bumber Delete.
Competition Engineering rear Drag Shocks.
Air Bag in right rear coil spring.
Performabuilt 9.5" 3000 Stall.
4.10 Gears.
LS1 Aluminum Drive Shaft.
No carpet, rear or passenger seats.
Weld Wheels with MT 275/50/15 DR's and Moroso DS-2 front runners.
Relocated IAT sensor.
Descreened MAF.
Disabled knock sensor.

I'm still running the stock tune with the exception of using a Hypertech programmer to raise the rev limiter and adjust for the 4.10s. It was shifting into 4th gear right after the 1000' mark. I think it will do a little better if I tweak the shift points and cross the line in third.

nice results...congrats

I bet with some tuning tweaks + a larger stall you will go into the 11's. The 60 seems good now though considering you stating only having a 3000 stall.

Very nice, I never had that kind of luck with just bolt ons. Good for you, and keep at it.

Sounds like u got a preety good setup there, a little more stall and you'd be lower 12's maybe 12.1-12.0

Solid set-up though, good times man!

So, you gained 50 MPH fromthe 1/8th to the 1/4? I am guessing you misprinted.

I fixed the typo.

Thanks for the props. I don't know what the DA was this morning, but the air was realy good. I was expecting to run a mid to high twelve.

I've been thinking about more stall, but I think some suspension work should come first. The slip that I posted up was my first pass of the morning and the only pass that I was able to hook up.

Those are some nice numbers, I really need to get my camaro to the track. I have the full boltons, except my headers are hooker shortys, and I have a small cam. I was hoping it would run around 12.3-12.5 next summer with the 3400 stall in it and I am putting in 3.73's before summer hits.

Nice 60'. Did you spin any? OSW track prep usually sucks!

With more stall and good weather/track you could be one of the few to see 11s with bolt-ons.

I dead hooked when I hit the 1.65 60'. I was probably only about the 20th car or so down the track. On my next two passes, I spun to a 2.01 and 1.77 60'. Some of the big tired cars were starting to have trouble getting down the track, so I called it quits for the day.

Hitting 11s with bolt-ons is my next goal if the motor holds up...lol.

Doesn't really matter. A used 10 bolt can be picked up for not much more than a night out at the bar. In fact, I have a spare laying under my work bench.

Btw the 3.73 geared 10 bolt that came out of my car last year now lives in a high ten second LS1 that hits low 1.6 60' times.
