Question Cam recommendations?

I know there is a billion threads on this already, but I'm looking to get a pretty big cam for some decent N/A power... Staying away from heads for a bit, so here's my setup.
LS6 intake mani
Whisper Lid
Ram Air
Long tubes
Straight pipes
Ported TB
Port/Polished MAF
I'm running a T56 w/ 3.42s in the rear end.
I was thinking MS4 cam but what do you all think?
Thanks.

Sounds good man, deff lemme know what goes on w/ that cam. I'm still thinking about spraying the car... like a 125 shot, nothing higher.

I wouldn't use that cam for several reasons: 1) You are restricted on air flow coming in due to elevation. 2) You are restricted by your intake manifold. 3) You will need deaper gears than what you currently have (3:73's or 4:10's). 4) A very good tuner to get the cam surge down to a minimum.

I would run a reverse split cam instead, something alond the lines of 236/232 113+2 for a "larger cam" feel. I know on a 346 stock bottom end car with RHS heads, FAST 90/90, MSD coils, shaftmount rockers, headers, cold air intake, 85mm Mass air, and several other bolt ons with a 238/238 112+4 cam was a bitch to get tuned correctly. I don't know of anybody in Albuquerque with this kind of talent, but I do know of a person that can get you squared away with a mail order tune (plus follow up street driving corrections involving HPTuner software w/data logging software). Ed (edcmat-l1) at www.theHPfactory.com (site sponsor) can get you going.

I have always liked the tsp torque 2 and 3 cams. look into them, great under the curve power.

Well, a lot of guys here in ABQ are running decent sized cams without any problems. As for the tuning, Solid Technology is the place to go. Sean (lbz34 on here and rsw) is a great tuner. I guess I should probably ask him what cam I should go with He'll probably say ms3 and spray lol.

tried and true LG G5X-3, then upgrade your heads later. but check with LG if you need to flycut with stock heads. if so, then forget it

Well that is good to know about a good tuner here close, thanks. As for the cam selection, something that works great at lower elevations will only work OK at our elevation. From racing at the track there in Albuquerque your altitude corrected figures from a weather station that I have range from 6800 to 9500+ ft. above sea level. This is a key figure to your cam design!! Your TQ output will be much lower than at lower elevation's and is why I gave you a recommendation for a little bit smaller cam duration figure. Also the revearse split cams give you a much stronger low to mid rpm TQ band. Atleast check into the info that I gave you, you will be happier in the long run, as off the shelf grinds just don't work that well here.

Yeah for sure bro. I'm still poking around doing my research, cuz you know just as well as I that N/A cars are hard to make fast up here. As for solid tech, their website is http://solid-technology.com/

You need anything hit them up, if you want a tune it'll be worth the drive.

This guys cam WILL do what you want it to do. I suggest a custom Crane 232/232 .624/.600 111&2 (LSHS/HR5) Expect 401-405rwhp 383-387rwtrq.
