The manufacturer says they dont but I have them on my car and know for a fact they will go on ! I cant recommend you do this because the man says they wont fit but heres what it looks like if you did decide to try it.

I am so sick of this topic!!!!!! Yes the damn tires will fit on the rim!!! Is it the suggested wheel size for the tire??? No!!! Its not!! But if you want to take the risk of tire failure and like looking at buldge then go for it. After all it is your car and do with it what you like!!!!!!!

in before the !!

Why does someone have to throw a fit everytime someone asks about this? Like a teacher telling you not to eat paste, well if they didn't make it mint flavored then no one would eat it. If 315 weren't made by all the tire companies were so easily mounted on a 9.5 inch rim then no one would run them. You realize that hot rodding started from people wanting to be different and try new things to make their cars stand out and be different and faster then everyone elses cars I am sure in the past a lot of thing way more dangerous have been tried and tested. So why not just advise against it rather then say it can't be done, because most of us already know that YES they will fit on the rim although not necessarily recommended by the manufacturer, and certainly frowned upon by many on here. These threads make me want to buy a set and run them just to feel like I am constantly breaking some unwritten LS1 bi law.

Thumbs down

Good lord you people amaze me . . .

If you are stupid enough to to think a 315/35R17 fits on a 9.5" wide wheel, my best wishes.

Further more if you find a tire shop that is ignorant enough to install it . . .

Best of luck.

I really don't think there is probably an issue with a 315 NITTO on a 9.5" rim, seeing that their 315 tire is about equal to a normal companys 255 tire. I wouldn't put a 315 BFG or M/T tire on that small of a rim though, as far as 17s go anyways.

I find this similar to a fat chick wearing a size "Medium" top. Can she fit in it? Sure, but should she?
