I am so sick of this topic!!!!!! Yes the damn tires will fit on the rim!!! Is it the suggested wheel size for the tire??? No!!! Its not!! But if you want to take the risk of tire failure and like looking at buldge then go for it. After all it is your car and do with it what you like!!!!!!!

Why does someone have to throw a fit everytime someone asks about this? Like a teacher telling you not to eat paste, well if they didn't make it mint flavored then no one would eat it. If 315 weren't made by all the tire companies were so easily mounted on a 9.5 inch rim then no one would run them. You realize that hot rodding started from people wanting to be different and try new things to make their cars stand out and be different and faster then everyone elses cars I am sure in the past a lot of thing way more dangerous have been tried and tested. So why not just advise against it rather then say it can't be done, because most of us already know that YES they will fit on the rim although not necessarily recommended by the manufacturer, and certainly frowned upon by many on here. These threads make me want to buy a set and run them just to feel like I am constantly breaking some unwritten LS1 bi law.
