Well I would not bother with the corvette servo as your car already has one in it ,

Reverse Drum called the Beast. Call a sponsor, they stock them, and have other parts you may need. They also will only sell you what you need. Good luck.

Think it's called a sun shell, the strongest one is called "the Beast". It would be a good upgrade if you had the tranny apart, but I don't see it as a must because of the shift kit and bolt-ons. Talk to one of your sponsors before buying parts.

You don't have to remove the tranny to install the shift kit but you would to intall that sun shell. I plan on just the shift kit and maybe the billet 2nd and 4th servos. I'll get the internal stuff if/when I blow up the tranny.

Sorry, I was under the impression that the shift kit could be done under the car. Do you have a stall? I'm going to try the 3.73's first, but I have a 4K stall and cam also.

1- the transgo hd2 can be installed partially without trans removal . Installing the 3-4 clutch return springs will require removal.
2- I would not use and servo beyond the corvette servo that's already in there with the stock band/ (I have seen the billet servos break the stock band)
3- the beast is a great idea ,
4-And upgraded 3-4 clutch set would be silley not to add while it apart.

Oh and not being a smart *** really if your going to do all of that and will be completely disassembling the transmission just finish the rebuild it would be crazy not to and unless your doing it all yourself (not suggested unless you are a trans builder or know someone with experience building performance 4l60e units) you are likely when all said and done gonna end up wIth as much money in the trans as you could buy one already built for or close.
If I wasnt gonna build the whole trans I would just do the partial install of the transgo and set it in the lighter shift settings and leave it at that, IMO

The stock Borg Warner Hi-Energy band is much much better than the Kevlar band. Almost nobody that builds 700R4/4L60E units "that live", use the Kevlar band.
