Default need some help!

I have a '99 SS, with an Automatic Tranny. I have put a K&N Cold Air Intake on it. Plus, Edelbrock headers, with
3" Pipes back into a Y-Pipe, and Flowmaster exhaust. Right now i have $2,000 dollars in my hand that I would like to put into my car. I am not looking for anything cosmetic. What can i do to get the most results?

what kind of power or drivability do you want from the cam? for the stall i would get a 3600 vigilante.

get a tune and then use what you have left over for suspension mods

I agree, a torque converter would be the first thing followed by a cam and tune. PM me or give me a call at the shop. I would be happy to help you spec out your combo. A well matched cam/conveter combo would pick you up a second or more in the 1/4...

Thanks,
Shane

All good info so far. I would probably just get the converter and do some suspension mods. Get the cam later on.

If you've got the 2.73 gears that most of the A4s came with then I'd get rid of them in favor of some 3.73s. (BIG Difference). Then I would get a good stall convertor installed.+ your gonna need some tuning to get the speedometer recalibrated and some tranny parameters changed. I hope you got some good tires cause your gonna need them.
